Many martingale-style EAs with stop-loss features show no stop-loss triggers in backtests, leaving their performance after a stop-loss completely unverified. This often leads to significant differences between backtest results and live trading.
Our EA is different.
In a 20-year TDS backtest, it experienced five actual stop-losses and successfully recovered the account to continue generating profits. As a result, it achieved a Recovery Factor (RF) of over 15.
Because the same stop-loss logic is used in live trading, you can expect performance that includes the recovery process shown in the backtest.

RF indicates how efficiently the account recovers from drawdowns.

Averaging EAs can produce different maximum drawdowns depending on the starting date of trading.
To evaluate the stability of the strategy, it is important to conduct multiple backtests with shifted start dates. For this test, we fixed the backtest period at 3 months and shifted the start date forward by one month at a time.
Backtests were run across start dates from January 2006 to December 2025, resulting in a total of 240 individual tests.
This covers a wide range of market conditions for AUDCAD over approximately 20 years. Across all start-date variations, the maximum drawdown remained generally stable with no large fluctuations.
These results show that the EA does not depend on a favorable starting timing and maintains consistent behavior regardless of when trading begins.

This EA is running on a live JPY account.

The backtest and live forward results are obtained using a low-spread, commission-free broker.
Performance may vary depending on the total trading cost including spreads and commissions. Please run your own backtests to verify profitability under your broker’s specific conditions.
Additionally, because this EA operates 24/7, using a VPS (Virtual Private Server) is highly recommended for continuous, stable performance.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.
